Dear WiB Community,
As November arrives, we’re reminded that this time of year is all about balance — taking a moment to pause, reflect, and recharge while continuing to grow together as a community. With Reading Week just around the corner, we encourage everyone to take time for themselves — rest, reset, and return refreshed for the exciting opportunities ahead!
This month, we’re thrilled to spotlight our Female Founders Panel, one of our most anticipated events of the semester. This interactive discussion will bring together inspiring women who have built their own ventures from the ground up — turning challenges into opportunities and ideas into impact. Whether you’re dreaming of starting your own business or simply want to learn from leaders who’ve paved their own way, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
We’re also proud to launch WiB in the Community, our newest initiative focused on giving back and creating positive change beyond campus. This month, our members will be volunteering locally, coming together to make a tangible difference in our city. It’s a chance to connect, serve, and see the power of community in action.
As we move into the final stretch of the semester, let’s carry forward the spirit of connection and gratitude. Take time for yourself this Reading Week, celebrate how far you’ve come, and remember that every small step — whether in your studies, career, or community — matters.
With gratitude and excitement,
Emma & Elizabeth
2025-2026 Co-Presidents
WiB Wrapped: October Edition
Our October events were a huge success! Students gathered for an evening of meaningful discussion, practical insights, and networking designed to help them stand out for co- op, summer, and post-grad opportunities.
At our Career Readiness Roundtables, attendees connected with guest speakers from diverse industries, gaining insider advice on everything from interview confidence to personal branding. Each participant walked away with their very own Career Kit, filled with tools and confidence boosters to support their career journey long after the event.
To wrap up the month, WiB members headed to McMahon Stadium for a night out at the Stampeders vs. Argonauts game, where the Stamps scored a massive 44–13 win in their Pink Power Game supporting breast cancer awareness.
Our team cheered from the Coors Corral, bringing WiB spirit and community energy to the stands! A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us — and to our incredible speakers and members for making October a month of connection, confidence, and community.
