Women in Business (WiB) is a student-run club at the University of Calgary dedicated to empowering women and allies through professional development, networking, and community. We aim to equip students with the tools and confidence they need to succeed in any career path.

WiB is open to all students - regardless of faculty, major, or gender identity. While our focus is on supporting women in business, we welcome anyone who supports our mission and values.

You can sign up through our Club Hub page, at Clubs Week on campus, through the Join Us page on our website, or by clicking the Linktree in our Instagram bio to fill out our Google Form. Membership is quick and easy - just complete the registration form, and you’re in!

As a WiB member, you’ll gain access to panels, workshops, case competitions, and networking events. You’ll also have the chance to connect with recruiters, mentors, and peers while developing leadership, communication, and career-readiness skills.

As a general member, there are no strict requirements- you can be as involved as your schedule allows. We encourage members to:

• Attend events that interest them (whether professional or social).

• Engage with us on social media and stay up to date through our newsletters.

• Take advantage of opportunities like workshops, panels, and networking sessions.

• Support the WiB community by bringing a positive, inclusive attitude.

• Participation is completely flexible - whether you come to one event or every event, you’re part of WiB!
