Having been on the executive team of WIB for 3 years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet wonderful students, faculty, and corporate professionals who have taught me so much during my undergraduate degree. As I embark on my last year, I hope to inspire other women to put themselves out there and succeed in their business careers.

Hi my name is Kiara Semeniuk and I am in my 4th year at Haskayne. I am concentrating in accounting and plan to get my CPA designation once I graduate in April. Currently, I'm planning a trip to Italy and Greece so I can see a little bit more of the world before I start pursuing my career! I've never been outside of North America so this will be a first for me :)

Hi everyone! My name is Aspen, and I am a second-year student at Haskayne, majoring in OBHR. Outside of school, you’ll probably find me outdoors whether it’s skiing, biking, hiking or relaxing on the beach. I’m passionate about exploring new places, meeting new people and love to travelling whenever I get the chance (fun fact: I was born in Taiwan!). I also enjoy cooking and getting lost in a good book. I’m excited to be apart of the Women in Business community this year and can’t wait to connect with all of you!

Hey! I’m Gurleen :) I’m heading into my third year of accounting, and you’ll probably catch me running between lectures, club meetings, and events—I love staying involved on campus! Outside of school I enjoy working in skincare and also run a small business with my best friend. When I’m not juggling school or work, you’ll find me spending time with loved ones, going for runs, or testing out new recipes in the kitchen. I’m excited to be part of the WiB team this year and can’t wait to bring my creativity and ideas to the table!

I’m a third year finance student at the University of Calgary and I’m excited to serve as a Director of Gala this year. I’m currently majoring in finance, where I’m passionate about wealth/asset management and fintech. In my free time I love reading about astronomy and exploring new cafes. I’m looking forward to be on a team of intelligent women and getting the chance to empower and celebrate women in the business industry!
